TRG2 and TRG22 room thermostats are manufactured by the renowned international brand Siemens, a leader in the building automation market. SIEMENS TRG2 and TRG22 room thermostats will prove themselves not only in commercial installations, in homes and hotels, but can also be successfully used in industrial installations. They are perfect for rooms with too high humidity.
The sensor in the TRG2 and TRG22 room thermostats works according to the liquid expansion principle. The thermostat switches when the room temperature rises above the set setpoint. The TRG22 two-stage thermostat has two changeover contacts that operate sequentially. The switching interval is adjustable in the range 2 ... 12 K.
The housing and cover of the TRG2 and TRG22 room thermostats are made of plastic. The cover is fixed with 2 screws.
The room thermostat should be installed about 1,5 m above the floor and at a distance of at least 0,5 m from the corner of the room. The thermostat sensor must not be exposed to sunlight. Avoid installing the thermostat in places that may be affected by heat or moisture (near doors, windows, chimneys, etc.) and places with insufficient air circulation (in recesses, behind furniture or behind curtains, etc.).
