Due to the low flow of <0.1 m³ / h, Alwa-Comfort valves can be installed in horizontal pipes and systems with low circulation. These types of applications are particularly present where stringent hygiene conditions are required or for the comfort of the user who expects immediate hot water at the point of tap. To maintain hydronic balance, the valve has a fixed temperature setting. The valve opens and closes the flow as a function of temperature in the horizontal sections of circulation. In accordance with DVGW requirements, sheet W554, the Alwa-Comfort valve maintains its correct operation when disinfecting the installation above 70 ° C.
