The RDE100.1DHW room temperature controller from Siemens is used in various types of buildings, both private and commercial. It works with Siemens valve and damper actuators. It is used to control thermal and zone valves, gas and oil burners, fans, pumps, heat exchangers or flow water heaters.

The RDE100.1 DHW Siemens controller measures the room temperature with an integrated sensor. It maintains the temperature setpoint by sending control signals. The switching hysteresis is 1 K.
The tasks of the RDE100.DHW Siemens controllers include:
- Room temperature control with built-in sensor
- Selecting the operating mode using the touch buttons
- Time program configuration (individual days, 7 days or "5-2" days)
- Display of the current room temperature or setpoint (° C or ° F)

The RDE100.1DHW Siemens room temperature controller has a clear administrator panel. Information about current parameters is shown on a clear display. The user has a choice of 4 operating modes: automatic, comfort, energy-saving and frost protection, which can be set using the touch buttons. The device has a functional design. It was made of durable plastic. Like all other devices offered by Siemens, it has all the necessary certificates confirming the highest quality of workmanship.
The RDE100.1DHW Siemens controller consists of two parts:
- Housing made of plastic, in which there are electronic systems, operating elements and a built-in room temperature sensor
- Mounting base
The housing snaps into the mounting plate and is secured with a screw.
