The pressure regulators of the DWR-574 FEMA series have been designed in such a way as to guarantee the highest level of safety. Therefore, they can be successfully used in chemical process engineering and thermal installations where safety in pressure monitoring is a particularly important factor. The pressure switches can also be used in hazardous areas (zones 0, 1, 2 and 20, 21, 22). In all cases, they require an isolation amplifier. The amplifier is responsible for monitoring the line for a short circuit and therefore provides additional safety, even in non-Ex zones. For Ex applications, the isolating amplifier must be installed outside the Ex zone. The lines between the isolation amplifier and the pressure switch are monitored for short circuit and line break.
